Journal of World Sociopolitical Studies

The Journal of World Sociopolitical Studies (JWSS), published since Summer 2017, is a free open-access, double blind peer-refereed journal, providing a platform for the publication of scientific articles in the areas of sociological and political research about countries and regions worldwide. The full text of all content is available for free and open access without delay. There is no embargo period and there are no requirements for users to register to read content. It is published quarterly (four issues per year/ at the beginning of each season) by the Iranian World Studies Association and University of Tehran (Faculty of World Studies). The journal welcomes original papers focused on the due subjects. Authors are requested to submit their papers electronically to the journal website (http://wsps.ut.ac.ir). The initial review time is 7 days long, and the submission process requires authors to adhere to the journal’s guideline  and ethical considerations.  Authors are required to use APA reference system. We regret that we are not able to consider submissions that do not follow these procedures.

World Sociopolitical Studies provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. This journal is published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), which allows reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format, so long as attribution is given to the creator. The license allows for commercial use (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/)

The journal website provides authors a repository of all their published works for them to see and download a list of their manuscripts.
